Introduction
This internship report presents the work I carried out during my four-month internship at Multisoft Solutions Ltd in Accra, Ghana.
The internship took place from May 12, 2025, to September 11, 2025, within the IT department of the hosting company. The purpose of the internship was twofold: to contribute to ongoing IT projects within the company and to develop my own professional skills in enterprise systems, databases, and IT support. My missions covered a wide range of activities, including conducting a feasibility study on the integration of SAP Business One with WhatsApp Business API, performing a two-tier installation of Sage X3 ERP, and assisting other departments with software installation, hardware maintenance and many other ones that we will mention later on.
This report provides a comprehensive overview of these activities, the challenges encountered, the competencies developed, and the benefits derived for both the company and me.

Feasibility study of SAP Business One and WhatsApp Business API
|
|
|
|
|
The first part of my internship involved studying the feasibility of connecting SAP Business One (an Enterprise Resource Planning system) with the WhatsApp Business API. The purpose of this integration would be to improve how companies communicate with their clients and manage their operations more efficiently.
SAP Business One is business management software that helps companies handle finance, sales, purchasing, stock management, and customer relationships all in one place. It can be installed on different types of servers and is flexible enough to work with other applications through its built-in connectors (called APIs).

Installation and Configuration of Sage X3 (Two-Tier Architecture)
|
|
The second major assignment during my internship was the installation and configuration of Sage X3, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system designed for medium to large organizations. Sage X3 helps companies manage key operations such as finance, inventory, purchasing, sales, and production from a single platform.

|
Technical Support and Assistance
|
|
In addition to working on major integration and installation projects, I also contributed to the daily IT operations of the company by providing technical support and assistance to different departments.

Tools and Technologies Used

Throughout the internship, I worked with a wide range of tools and technologies, including:

General IT Tools: Troubleshooting utilities, installation packages, TeamViewer, anydesk, excel, and office productivity software.
This diverse exposure allowed me to build familiarity with both enterprise-grade solutions and day-to-day IT support tools, strengthening my adaptability in professional environments.

During this internship, I significantly strengthened both my technical and professional skills.
Technical Skills:

Challenges Encountered and Solutions
During the internship, I faced several challenges that required adaptability, problem – solving, and persistence.

– Challenge: Understanding how two very different systems could communicate effectively.

– Solution: Conducted extensive research, analyzed existing integration methods, and proposed middleware solutions to bridge the gap between SAP Business One and the WhatsApp Business API.

– Challenge: Balancing long-term projects (ERP installation and feasibility study) with daily technical support requests.

– Solution: Applied time management strategies such as task prioritization and structured reporting, ensuring that both project milestones and day-to-day support were delivered on time.

Conclusion.
My four-month internship at Multisoft Solutions Ltd. was a valuable professional experience that combined large-scale enterprise projects with everyday IT support. I had the opportunity to:
