More than 35 businesses benefited from the SAP Business One Seminar, organized by Multisoft Solutions and our Business Partner, SAP on Wednesday 31^st November, 2018 at Alisa Hotels.

The event which was on the theme: “Selecting A Business Management Software In A Volatile Business Environment”, featured detailed presentations on how businesses can optimize growth by being receptive to technology, as well as a deep dive demo on SAP Business One ERP software.

SAP Business One is a single, integrated solution that provides clear visibility into your entire business and designed for small and medium-sized enterprises specifically for complete control over every aspect of your operations to automate key business functions in Accounting and Finance, Reporting, Purchasing and Operations, inventory and warehousing, manufacturing, as well as sales and customer relationship management.

In a keynote address, Justice Lartey, the CEO of Multisoft Solutions advised business owners not to underestimate the changes technology and innovation bring to business operations, but rather focus on ways to leverage the opportunities these changes present to earn more than just managing a business.

He mentioned cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence, Big data, mobility and block chain technology as the key driving factors pioneering the changes in business approaches. Describing them as “disruptors”, the CEO of Multisoft Solutions advised that these forces must be turned into “enablers” and be used to create business advantage.

He sees the abrupt and continued evolution in business emanating from technology and innovation as nothing but an opportunity for business owners to optimize growth adding that: “New entrants can quickly create businesses that once took incumbents decades to build due to evolution in technology as technology removes the traditional barriers on a global scale.

Speaking on the topic: “Creating Value for African Companies in the Digital Economy”, Mr Walid Belahmar, Business Development Senior Specialist, SAP Business One, SAP North West Africa, said Africa has great business potentials, especially in a digital economy where business management software solutions such as SAP Business One is simplifying most operational complexities in business thereby driving profitability.   

He indicated that SAP Business One will help African Business Owners to gain control over their businesses irrespective of the size of their business- whether small or mid-sized. Mr Walid said no matter how frequent the business environment changes, business owners are able to streamline their processes, gain greater insight into the business, and make decisions based on real-time information –to drive profitable growth.

With a deep dive Demo on SAP Business One, Dennis E.K Hatsu, Senior Consultant at Multisoft Solutions delighted participants by showing the exciting features and functionalities in the SAP Business One. He touched on the key functionalities including, dimensional general ledger accounting functions, inventory management, CRM, Manufacturing, Account Payables and Receivables, Distribution, Warehousing, procurement, fixed assets, real time reporting tools amongst others.
