Internship Report

I completed a one-month internship at Multisoft Technologies Ltd. The internship provided practical exposure to data analytics, reporting systems, and business intelligence tools, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world datasets and organizational processes.

During the internship, I worked across multiple stages of the data analytics workflow, beginning with data preparation and progressing through analysis, reporting, and visualization. I started with data cleaning and preprocessing using Excel and Python. This involved identifying inconsistencies in datasets, handling missing values, removing duplicates, and structuring data for analysis. This stage reinforced the importance of data quality in ensuring reliable analytical outcomes.

I was then introduced to SAP Crystal Reports, where I learned how organizations design and generate structured business reports. I created reports from existing datasets, applied parameters for dynamic filtering, and wrote Crystal formulas to customize outputs. This experience gave me insight into how reporting systems are used to produce consistent and reusable business information.

I further developed my analytical skills using Python, particularly the Pandas library. I explored datasets programmatically, automated cleaning processes, and transformed data for analysis. This improved my understanding of how programming can enhance efficiency and accuracy in data handling compared to manual methods.

In addition, I worked with SQL to query databases and extract meaningful business data. I then used Power BI to transform these outputs into interactive dashboards, visualizing key insights and performance indicators. This helped me understand how organizations convert raw data into visual reports that support decision-making. Beyond data analytics, I was also introduced to foundational concepts in networking and cloud computing, including how servers and switches support data flow within organizations, how the internet enables system communication and cloud computing. This exposure reinforced my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CCP) knowledge, particularly in cloud infrastructure and service deployment.
